Boris Johnson has welcomed the news that 4 additional schools in Uxbridge and South Ruislip will benefit from additional funding as part of the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF).
Ryefield Primary School, Uxbridge High School, Bishopshalt School and Moorcroft School have all been successful in obtaining funding for specific projects to maintain and improve the condition of their school estate.
On 29th June the Government announced that £560 million of additional condition funding would be made available this year to support schools. This is in addition to the £1.45 billion already provided for school maintenance in the financial year 2020-21.
Commenting, Boris said: “I am very pleased that after narrowly missing the threshold when the CIF funding outcomes were announced in June 2020, these 4 additional schools will now be able to benefit from extra funding to help maintain and improve their school estate.”
