Uxbridge and South Ruislip MP, Boris Johnson recently paid a visit to Hillingdon Hospital’s new vaccine hub to thank staff and help send out the message: ‘Get boosted now’.
Boris was welcomed to the hub - located in Pinewood Ward- by Trust CEO Patricia Wright who took him in to meet with staff and volunteers. Boris also spoke with a number of local residents who are attending to get their jab.
Boris also used the visit to deliver a personal thank you to everyone at the Hillingdon Hospitals Trust for all their hard work now and over the past many months and wished them all a Merry Christmas.
The Hillingdon Hospital Vaccine Hub is open from 8.30am-8.00pm (last appointment 7.30pm), seven days a week, offering Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine exclusively. Appointments can be made via the national booking system, or walk-in, via the Pinewood Ward car park.
Commenting, Boris said: “The staff, volunteers and military personnel at Hillingdon Hospital vaccine hub are working tirelessly to get booster jabs into arms. Getting a booster is the best way to protect against Omicron. Don’t delay. Get boosted now.”
