Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip recently visited Hillingdon Hospital to get an update on the redevelopment plans, and to meet the incredible and hard-working staff.
During the visit, Boris met with Trust CEO Patricia Wright as well as Jason Seez who is the Senior Responsible Officer for Hospital Redevelopment Programme before touring the new Franklin Ward where he spoke with staff and patients.
Following the visit, Boris said: “I very much enjoyed my visit to Hillingdon Hospital to get an update on the exciting redevelopment plans and have the opportunity to personally thank some of the incredible staff who have been working so hard on the front-line saving lives. Local residents rightly expect to receive high quality healthcare and since becoming the local MP my priority has been to ensure the hospital gets the support it needs so the facilities can finally match the devotion of the staff. I am pleased to say the Government has now given the go ahead for the local Trust to develop proposals to provide improved healthcare services in a new fit for purpose local hospital on the current site."
