Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip today met with recently appointed Chief Executive of The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Sarah Tedford joined Hillingdon Hospital in November 2018 and Boris met with her to discuss the priorities and the urgent need to improve facilities at the hospital. They had a long discussion on the future of Hillingdon Hospital and the options for redevelopment.
Following the meeting, Boris said: “It was great to meet Sarah and understand her priorities both in the short and long term. We both agree urgent action is required and I will continue to work with ministers in the Department for Health and NHS England to secure additional funding. The staff work tirelessly for the benefit of Hillingdon residents and I thank them for their continued dedication and commitment.”
