
Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip recently paid a visit to Boots Pharmacy in Uxbridge which has recently opened up as a Covid-19 Vaccination Centre.
Boris was welcomed by Boots Managing Director, Seb James and Store Manager Rajan Guru before being taken on a tour around the store and the new vaccination hub. He also met with the pharmacy team and spoke to several patients who shared how positive they felt about receiving their vaccination at the store. Before leaving, Boris thanked the whole team for their contribution and dedication.
The Boots store, located on the High Street in Uxbridge, is part of the network of pharmacies helping with the government’s successful Covid-19 vaccine rollout.
Commenting on the visit, Boris said: “It was fantastic to speak with Rajan and his team and hear about all the work they are doing to support and accelerate the UK’s Covid-19 vaccination rollout across the constituency. I am extremely grateful to all pharmacy staff across Uxbridge and South Ruislip for their tireless work, particularly over the last year during the pandemic, supporting our NHS and ensuring people are able to get access to all the medicines they need”
