Boris opens Brackenbridge Field Playground

Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, was given a helping hand today by Field End Junior School to officially open the new Brackenbridge Field playground.

Hillingdon is the second largest borough in London with over 200 green spaces covering approximately 1800 acres and Mr Johnson was delighted to add this new playground to this esteemed collection.

Commenting on the opening Mr Johnson said: “Last time I visited Field End Junior School it was to celebrate a grant for a new library and today we have another asset. Good play can be as important as hard work and I am delighted that this new resource is here to be enjoyed by all.”
