Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, visited Hillingdon Hospital last week to discuss its future development with members of Brunel University and two NHS trusts.
Boris was accompanied by Lord O’Shaughnessy from the Department of Health and Sir Robert Naylor, Chief Executive of University College London Hospitals (UCLH), who received a tour of the estate and heard about the hospital’s current services. This was followed by an outline of the proposed development to the hospital, delivered by members of Brunel University, London.
During the visit Boris commented “It’s a pleasure to welcome Sir Robert Naylor and Lord O’Shaughnessy to Hillingdon Hospital today. I am determined to make the case to the Department of Health of the need for the redevelopment of Hillingdon Hospital. I hope today’s visit is an important milestone in the process.”
