Boris Johnson Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip visited the Yiewsley Baptist Church to hear a consultation about a proposed Community Kitchen.
Boris met with Pastor Rich Blake-Lobb who has proposed the Community Kitchen following the church’s search for a way to support community cohesion. Should this kitchen be created it plans to offer coffee mornings, baby café, space for carers and conversation groups, which would be a great benefit to the residents of Yiewsley.
Boris commented: “What a brilliant idea from the team at Yiewsley Baptist Church. The support to members of the community which could be provided by the Community Kitchen would be invaluable. I look forward to lending a hand where possible.”
