Boris helps secure funding for tree topping work on former ski slope site

Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip has helped secure funding from Hillingdon Council to undertake tree maintenance work on the former dry Ski Slope near Park Road.

Having been contacted by local residents, Boris wrote to Hillingdon Council leader Cllr Puddifoot requesting that funding be allocated to undertake tree topping and other appropriate maintenance work on the site to help open up some of the currently obstructed views of London.

Commenting, Boris said: “I am delighted that Hillingdon Council has agreed to my request to allocate funds for this tree topping work. I know that this will be appreciated by local residents and visitors to the site.”

The work will take place in the near future.
