Boris Johnson, Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip is encouraging any interested residents to attend the two public events in Hillingdon on the Colne Valley Viaduct.
After campaigning for HS2 Ltd to release the specimen design to residents, Boris is keen that the community can now have their say on the updated plans for the design of the viaduct. The events on 22nd March and 24th March will be an opportunity to talk to the contractors about the design and build process and feedback any comments.
Boris has pushed since the plans were released in January that engagement is open to all residents, even if unable to attend the events. Feedback can be given in person at the meeting or until the deadline of 8th April.
Boris said: “The Colne Valley Viaduct has been branded of international significance but moreover it has great significance to the daily lives of residents in Hillingdon. Now is the chance for residents to have their say on design aspects including noise barriers. I encourage any interested constituents to take part.”
