Uxbridge and South Ruislip MP, Boris Johnson recently paid a visit to HALO play café - an innovative local project supporting families within the community with bereavement when someone sadly dies, so they do not grieve alone.
The café, located in the Chimes Uxbridge, is an open soft play facility and café. Within the café they offer referrals for further support and also offer a training room to train schoolteachers and professionals on grief and loss and run workshops to support children, as well as wellbeing room with a bereavement book library. All proceeds from the café go to Halo Children’s Foundation, which supports children and their families with bereavement.
Mr Johnson had been invited to attend by Halo Children's Foundation Chief Executive, Ms Alia Jones.
