Last week Boris Johnson, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip met with Federation of Small Business (FSB) members from across Hillingdon for a virtual chat around how coronavirus is affecting small businesses. He listened to the concerns and suggestions of a number of local businesses and stressed how vital small firms are to the UK’s economic recovery. He also took the opportunity to thank the FSB for its efforts during the pandemic.
Boris said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to speak to a number of local businesses in Hillingdon to offer my thanks for all their efforts over the last few months. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, every big business started life as a small one and this Government is determined to make Great Britain the best place in the world to start and scale a business.”
