Boris Johnson Member of Parliament for Uxbridge and South Ruislip visited the Elm Park Lunch Club for lunch.
Boris was joined on his visit by Manor Ward Councillors Susan O’Brien and Mike Markham. Boris sat with the members for lunch and heard about the important work being done by the charity.
Elm Park Lunch Club are a charity who provide a home cooked three-course lunch for over 60s. These healthy meals are freshly prepared every week day by experienced cooks onsite.
During the meal Boris commented; “What a fantastic resource for those who attend these lunches. It is particularly valuable to those who may not be able to have prepared food to such quality at home, or do not have someone outside the club to enjoy lunch with. I want to wish Elm Park Lunch Club every success and look forward to continuing to support them in the future.”
