Uxbridge and South Ruislip MP, Boris Johnson has welcomed the news that applications have reopened for National Lottery Grants for Heritage. Between April 2021 to March 2022, when making funding decisions, they will prioritise heritage projects that boost the local economy, encourage skills development and job creation, support wellbeing, create better places to live, work and visit and improve the resilience of organisations working in heritage.
Boris is urging eligible local organisations across Uxbridge and South Ruislip to consider applying for financial support (ranging from £3,000 to £5 million) for their heritage projects. Further details and information about the application process can be found on the Heritage Fund website at: https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/funding/national-lottery-grants-heritage-2021-22
By the end of this financial year, the National Lottery Heritage Fund will have provided more than £500 million of National Lottery and Government funding for England and the devolved nations – around double their usual amount – to support more than 1,500 heritage organisations, along with expertise and advice on adapting to the pandemic.
