Promoting Investment in our Schools

As your Member of Parliament I firmly believe that Uxbridge and South Ruislip’s children deserve the very best and my vision for education is for more pupils to be taught in good or outstanding schools than ever before.

In response to the high demand for school places, Hillingdon Council has invested in London’s largest school build project - a record £350 million in its Primary and Secondary School expansion programme to ensure every child in Hillingdon has a school place close to where they live.

The Conservatives are proud to have given schools more freedoms – so that teachers can do what’s right for their pupils. This means head teachers, who know their pupils best, have more power over their curriculum.

Government set to increase education funding
